This year has been full of exciting premieres in the car world. With the end of the year around the corner, automakers are already preparing for 2023 and the future.
From electric compacts to hardcore V12-powered supercars, these are the best models to look forward to in 2023 and beyond.
Ford Mustang S650
This is unarguably one of the most exciting automotive debuts within the last few years. A while back, Ford unveiled the all-new generation of the iconic Mustang.
The new S650 generation of America's favorite pony car will arrive for the 2023 model year. Naturally, the GT variant is offered with a screaming Coyote V8 motor.
Porsche Macan EV
Despite Porsche's efforts to develop vehicles powered by combustion engines that use renewable fuel, the German automaker is also committing to electric cars. The upcoming fully-electric SUV is a prime example.
The Porsche Macan EV will hit the market sometime in 2023, with its internal combustion counterpart discontinued just a year later.
BMW M2
The all-new BMW M2 is easily one of the most polarizing cars unveiled this year. The new design is questionable, to say the least.
The new entry-level M model is excellent when it comes to performance, though. The car, powered by a 453-horsepower turbocharged inline-six, can reach 60 miles per hour in under 3.9 seconds.
Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG
The latest generation of the iconic Mercedes-Benz AMG C63 is back for the 2023 model year. A V8 motor will not power the C63 AMG for the first time.
This time, the high-performance sedan is powered by a 2.0L flat-four motor. Don't be fooled by the low displacement, as this is the most powerful four-cylinder engine in the world.
Chevrolet Corvette C8 Z06
Some die-hard Corvette fans may argue that the latest C8 generation has lost some of its iconic features. However, the mid-engine sports car is easily the best bang for your buck, at least in terms of performance.
The high-performance Z06 variant, which will be even more hardcore than the base model, will hit the market for the 2023 model year.
Acura Integra
Acura has brought back the Integra nameplate for the 2023 model year, following an absence that lasted over 15 years. The new vehicle debuted as a replacement for the ILX.
Under the hood, the new Integra packs a 200-horsepower powerplant borrowed from the Honda Civic, offered with an automatic transmission as standard. Buyers can update to a stick shift with a limited-slip differential, too.

The British automaker is bringing back the Vanquish nameplate for 2023. This time, it's going to be a lot more radical than its spiritual predecessor.
The all-new Vanquish is going to be a mid-engine supercar that's going to compete with the likes of the Ferrari F8 Tributo and the McLaren 720s. The car is expected to resemble the Valhalla, although powered by a less powerful motor rated at 700 horses.
BMW 7 Series
The lavish 7-Series, developed to compete with the Mercedes-Benz S Class, is back for the 2023 model year. The all-new G70 generation is better than ever before.

The German automaker is rumored to officially unveil the vehicle before the end of the year. With the production expected to start around the same time, it's safe to assume that the model will be available sometime in 2023.

Kia's beloved Niro, a sleek hybrid crossover SUV, is back in 2023. This time, the Korean automaker introduced the all-new second generation to replace its predecessor.
