Stunning Gowns From The 97th Oscars
The biggest night in Hollywood — the 97th Academy Awards — took place on March 2, 2025, at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Before the awards were handed out, stars walked the red carpet in a dazzling array of custom gowns and dresses.
From timeless sophistication to out-of-the-box creativity, there was no shortage of styles on display at the 2025 Oscars.
Coco Gauff
Tennis sensation Coca Gauff brought her effortlessly charming and athletic style to the forefront with this custom Miu Miu gown.
The dress featured a form-fitting silhouette with a draped bodice, along with subtle crystal embellishments throughout the gown.
Storm Reid
The breakout star of A Wrinkle in Time, along with Euphoria and The Last of Us, came out in an Alexandre Vauthier creation.
Her dress incorporated a bubble skirt with belted waist. She tied the look together with a simple Giuseppe Zanotti pair of sandals with stiletto heels.

The drapey Gucci gown worn by Laura Dern showcased a somewhat sporty, sleeved look consisting of a sheer blouse over a lace bustier.
Dern reunited on the red carpet with her Blue Velvet co-star, Isabella Rossellini, to pay tribute to the film's director, David Lynch.
