Porsche’s flagship model is perhaps the most iconic German sports car in the world. When the 911 was first unveiled in 1963, it was quickly dubbed the ideal daily driver. The car had an impressive performance at the time, thanks to its legendary air-cooled boxer engine mounted in the rear of the vehicle. The 911 was fast while maintaining a high level of comfort for longer trips.

Almost 60 years later, the Porsche 911 lives on. The latest eighth generation, the 992, pays tribute to Porsche’s heritage. It may not be powered by an air-cooled motor anymore, though it’s versatile enough to lap around the race track and go on a grocery run afterward.
