2024’s Funniest Photos Back By Popular Demand
2024 was a crazy, chaotic year that kept everyone guessing until the very end. Titans fell, the world changed, and events that might have seemed like sure things turned out differently than anyone would have expected. Although so many people would hesitate to call 2024 a good year, it was certainly an interesting one.
However, it's also easy to underestimate how funny 2024 was. Since a reminder is needed after a whirlwind of a year like that, let's enjoy some of the wackiest highlights that somebody was lucky enough to get on camera over the last 12 months.
It's All Fun And Games Until Someone Loses An Eye

Apparently, things got rough enough in one classroom that the class's Barney doll ended up losing an eye. Considering how young the kids in this class would have to be, it's easy to assume the teacher was a bit incredulous when one of the students said they'd fix it.
Rather than sew that eye back into place, however, they figured that Barney had to deal with it just like anyone who loses an eye in real life does. So, they made this adorable and oddly cool felt eye patch for him instead.
Any Landing You Can Walk Away From Is A Good One

Since this picture seems a little blurry and simply depicts a guy talking on the phone, it's hard to tell what's so funny about it without any context. However, the truth is that this guy got himself into a situation we only hear about in sitcoms.
Apparently, the reason why this glass looks so frosty is that this photo was taken at the zoo. That's because a parachutist was trying to arrange a way out of there after landing in the monkey enclosure. At least it wasn't the gorilla enclosure.
Something Tells Me The Tomatoes Aren't Going Fast Today

It's hard to imagine how many people came up to this counter, enticed by the dish they saw on it, only to turn away in horror once they saw what somebody expected them to eat. Fortunately, if there is even a way to subject tomatoes to such an embarrassing predicament, that hasn't happened here.
Instead, this was the result of a simple but extremely unfortunate translation error. It's supposed to say "tomato with herbs," which is obviously a much more popular garnish.
I Don't Think This Was Designed By A Sports Fan

It's almost impossible to tell what country this sticker was made in but it's clear it wasn't the United States. After all, even the most sports-averse around here know the difference between a touchdown and a home run.
To be fair, it's not impossible how they made the guess they did, since there's arguably more running after catching a football than after hitting a baseball. I guess they thought the end zone was home? And home plate was the end zone?
Why Did A Couple Agree To Do This To Their Poor Child?

It takes some iron-clad discipline to maintain your customer service voice while handling someone with the name "Poop Butt." So much so that it's hard not to wonder if management is testing you with a secret shopper-style customer with a phony name.
That said, this is also a good reminder that the trend of giving one's children ridiculous names isn't as new as it seems. After all, the fact that Butt is now eligible for Medicare means a couple convinced themselves this name was a good idea over 65 years ago.
Someone Immediately Knew What They Had To Do

When somebody walked through this library and learned that the popular manga Nana exists, inspiration struck, especially after seeing how many volumes of it the place had. Luckily for them, the library's section for Western comic books was just as stacked.
So, not only were they able to land their "nana nana nana nana Batman" joke perfectly but this is a good reminder that there are four "nanas" before Batman. Of course, the actual 60s Batman theme song had a lot more than that.
They Should Take This As A Warning Sign But They Won't

When they discover that their employees aren't happy at work, it's not exactly unheard of for managers to leave bitter messages like this hanging around. Has angrily saying "Be happier about your working conditions!" ever actually changed anybody's mind, though?
In other words, I'd love to know what else they were expecting to get other than this note clarifying that they're not rehearsing for the hot new Broadway play, The Manager's Wacky Ego. It's always funny when it comes as a surprise that people work to live rather than devote themselves to lining someone else's pockets.
It's Not Often Something Is Adorable And Trippy At Once

The purpose of this photo is unambiguously adorable, as a little boy has been close and gentle enough with this chick that it's comfortably perched on his shoulder. Chickens always look kind of mad, but it's clear that this one isn't.
That said, it's also hard not to be thrown by the way the chicken's eye lines up with the boy's so perfectly. His eyes seem closed but good luck seeing it that way at first, as the staring chicken looks like it's a part of him. I don't think this one's getting eaten.
This Probably Isn't An Official Product

As if the "not for consumption" on this Doritos bath product wasn't already disappointing enough, it seems that marketing it with Cool Ranch Doritos branding was completely superfluous. Granted, blue raspberry is probably a preferable scent to Cool Ranch Doritos in this context, but why set people up for that expectation at all?
For that reason, it seems reasonable to suspect that Doritos had nothing to do with this and somebody just wanted to capitalize on the weird trend that also includes KFC-scented candles. I hope it at least smells like blue raspberry but the trust is already broken.
The Cat Couldn't Have Made A More Perfect Face

There's nothing quite like the surprise hilarity of a pet placing their head where it shouldn't be and that's doubly true when they look grumpy or confused as a result. A kid might enjoy a puppet show but they'll laugh even harder when basset hound's furrowed brows suddenly poke through the little stage.
However, it's even more perfect in this case because this cat legitimately looks like it's reacting to being turned into a bumblebee rather than just wondering why this box has a whole in it. If this exact situation wasn't the reason for that before, it is now.
The Concept Is Funny But The Cake Is Seriously Impressive

After leaving an IT company after 16 years of work, Reddit user ultramagnes23 received this brilliant cake at their going away party. Not only is it a delicious triple-layer cake but the genius idea of including one of a computer's funniest error messages was the icing on the cake (sorry).
Although the term "task failed successfully" never made much sense, it somehow does if we start thinking of quitting a job as "failing it successfully." The Windows XP background gives the cake such a pleasant aesthetic, too.
This Is How To Make Halloween Scary For Adults

Although horror movies used to contain some of the scariest concepts we could think of when we were children, we can often find that many of them are more silly than frightening when we reach adulthood. Instead, our fears in life tend to be more existential.
Since it's a little hard to communicate "Daughter's boyfriend you don't approve of" on a Jack-o-lantern, this will have to do. The best part is that making it scarier each year is just a matter of adding higher percentages.
Cyndi Lauper Didn't Deserve This Disrespect

Even before this commenter said anything, the person she was talking to was embarrassing himself. Indeed, is he seriously suggesting that a 71-year-old woman should still look the same way she did when she was 30?
As the commenter put it, however, he'd likely have something to say about how she achieved that seemingly eternal youth even if she did make the attempt. Not to mention, who wants to take bets on whether this guy will look half as good as her when he's 71?
This Is Hilarious But It's Also Pretty Effective Advertising

Although one would need to read Japanese to know this bar's name, that definitely shouldn't stop them from meeting someone here, as the sign is distinct enough to be one of those things you truly "can't miss."
It's also about as honest as a bar's sign gets and that honesty is expressed in the funniest and most creative way possible. If this isn't the experience you're looking for, drinking is probably not for you. And there's nothing wrong with that, especially considering the imagery here.
It's Not The Snowman Anyone Had In Mind

Apparently, Reddit user smokeymctokerson's parents asked him and his brother to make a snowman in the yard for their grandchildren. Although the results are so detailed and mind-bendingly awesome to adults, the disappointed parents clearly didn't feel the same way.
After all, unless these kids are the type to watch Deadpool & Wolverine and laugh rather than scream, they may not find much festive spirit in the abominable, amorphous snowman and his little conjoined twin. They're sort of cute but not cute enough for the little ones.
This Seems Like A Generous Gift But There's A Catch

As Reddit user Brandeeno2245 explained, they got their coworker a care package containing this bottle of soda and an assortment of chocolatey snacks! Sounds like a pleasant surprise for anybody, right?
Well, that may be true, and the coworker likely did appreciate it, but there was a teasing joke in here. Apparently, this package was in response to an incident where the coworker dropped a part and broke his toe. So the decision to pack Crush, Crunch, Reese's Fast Break, Butterfinger, and a famously breakable KitKat bar
This Was The Response He Deserved

The guy who came at X user @xgigglypuff may have had a point about giving the world's richest man even more money if he wasn't so demeaning and not-so-subtly sexist about her profession and look.
So, naturally, she got the hint that his struggles to date a smart woman are largely predicated on his charming personality. As she suggests, he really wants someone who's accomplished but completely unable to notice any of his obvious red flags. I'm sure he'll find her at the end of the rainbow right next to the leprechaun riding a unicorn.
There's Always A Catch In Life

While it's hard to imagine how many people in the area would be eligible for a free meal even without the fine print, it seems this restaurant isn't leaving anything to chance.
However, there's still room for a customer to fulfill the terms of this sign and get a free meal even if neither of their parents are living anymore. If they have urns with their remains and bring them in, they're technically accompanied by both parents. I think the restaurant would fork over the free meal out of sheer, aggravated respect.
An Odd Culinary Choice But A Very Clear Message

For those wondering why this sandwich has most of an avocado jammed into it, it's a little reference to how much of an impact the popular fruit is stereotypically supposed to have on the budgets of millennials.
Yet while it's unlikely that avocado toast is really the difference between renting and home ownership for anyone, that association has made it a tongue-in-cheek marker of wealth. As this image's uploader said, "I asked my friend if he got his raise. He sent this." It seems that's a yes.
Did He Actually Think They'd Attentively Take Notes?

When looking at the post this commenter reacted to, it's unclear what its poster thought was going to happen. Women the world over looking at it and deciding they couldn't afford to be without his affection? From the looks of it, he got slapped with cold, hard reality instead.
Not only is turning him on not an essential goal for womankind but it doesn't seem like he even knows what a wardrobe malfunction is. The clothing covers everything these women want it to, so it seems to function just fine.
I Think We Can Call This Wish Fulfillment

While there are certainly pictures like this being drawn in every elementary school art class nowadays (though the tablet they're drawing probably isn't often green), there's something both funny and sad behind why this one exists.
As Reddit user sunnyismybunny explained, "Took my kid's iPad away and told her to use her imagination and creativity to make something." Naturally, the child imagined another world where she was still able to use the iPad and drew her crude, oddly green version of this reality.
This Is Unusual But The Reason For It Is Adorable

Without context, it's perfectly reasonable to ask why Reddit user Rattashootie and her boyfriend decided to take separate holiday photos and act like babies in them. That's certainly not a tradition most people have ever heard of.
However, the reason is actually quiet wholesome and this is a creative way to express it. Apparently, this marks the first Christmas and Hannukkah they spent together, so they decided to treat them like their first ones in life. The "379 months" graphic was a nice touch.
Ain't That The Truth

While it's unclear how much merchandise the man in this photo was actually accused of stealing, there was naturally no shortage of aggrieved graduates who remember walking into the campus bookstore with dread every semester.
The full capitalization adds a nice touch to this response's energy but one woman spoke for so many others with this snarky reply. Considering how overpriced college textbooks are, his load should've been light enough to make a clean getaway.
If This Is Supposed To Make Dentists Less Scary, It Failed

At this point, it's likely not lost on dentists that many people have a particular fear of visiting them, no matter how important their oral health may be. If that wasn't the reason why one dentist decided to add this friendly mannequin to their office, then that mystery is a mystery.
In any case, the creepy face, odd lumpiness, and questionable presence of this mannequin likely made patients feel even more anxious. They went from thinking their teeth and gums would hurt to thinking they may not leave alive at all.
It Was A Bold Strategy But They've Clearly Seen It Before

Apparently, this driver was in such a state of fecal urgency that they had to park in a spot they weren't supposed to. Although they didn't expect to get away with it, they hoped their situation would afford them some clemency by the parking authorities.
Sadly, whoever dealt with their vehicle was very much unlike their bowels because that officer remained unmoved. That ticket just made their bathroom break a lot more expensive and there's nothing they could do about it.
It Says A Lot That This Feels Like An Odd Thing To Say

While everyone knows how ferocious road rage can be among people, it really does show how bad things have gotten that it takes the presence of a baby to remind people not to drive like complete monsters.
Hopefully, this works just as well and gives people some embarrassed chuckles as they try not to fly off the handle. After all, who is keen on being crashed into? Whoever they are, so many drivers in this world can recommend some great cities for them.
Her Intentions Were Wholly Innocent

Although the sign in front of this statue says "Keep off the statue," Reddit user urethra_franklin_ thought that leaning over it to give this friendly sasquatch a warm hug was the only way she was being naughty.
Sadly, she learned that wasn't quite the case when she saw the picture after it was too late to take another. As it turns out, her hand was a little lower on his body than she intended. As she added, "The worst part is how happy he looks about it."
Even As They Depart, People Can Have A Sense Of Humor

Generally, the last place a person can expect to go for laughs is a cemetery. Understandably, they're typically sorrowful, sombre places treated with the respect they deserve unless some particularly edgy teens decide to stay the night.
However, some people have such unassailable senses of humor that even their impending end can't dampen them. That's why one person asked for their grave to be topped with cement-filled gloves so it looks like they're the first signs of a zombie apocalypse. It might scare off the edgy teens who aren't expecting it, too.
Hopefully, He Got More Benefits Than A Name Change

Throughout his time at McDonald's, it seems that Nicholas has moved up from making coffee to training others to leading a team, to the store, to a leader of the "market people," whatever that means.
After so much dedication and apparent management skills, it felt only right to refer to him as Nicholas rather than plain Nick. With another promotion or two, his name will start with "Mr." and he won't have to wear a name tag at all.
A High School Student Was Brave Enough To Submit This

Although this assignment would likely make a careers teacher very concerned, it was a much more light-hearted approach to a budgeting project in a math class. Thus, as long as the student got her math right, the actual career wasn't the main focus.
Luckily for her, the teacher had a sense of humor, as they were as willing to accept and grade this as any other project. After all, exotic dancers would do as well to consider their monthly budgets as anybody else.
Now, This Is A Service That Delivers

As this image's uploader explained, they run a gardening service and when the customer asked for a cut at the line shown, this is how the uploader's employee interpreted that request.
Most people would assume they wanted to shorten the shrub rather than cut it so it defies gravity but this guy thinks outside the box. If he keeps this up, he might be thinking outside of a job, too.
Whether It's A Trophy Or A Hostage, It Works

It's understandable to want the context behind this bizarre photo, so it helps to know that in Queensland, Australia, it's not unusual for kids to throw rocks at people's roofs. That's because most roofs in the region are made of metal, so that makes a lot of noise.
Naturally, the house's owner wasn't pleased about this and chased the kids away. Yet, while they ran, one of them left this scooter behind. Hence, the's man's ingenious response. Now the kid either has to fess up or lose the scooter forever.
Convertibles Aren't Always As Fun As They Seem

As Reddit user r37n1w explained, their wife had always dreamed of owning a convertible. Recently, that dream finally came true, which naturally meant that she wanted the couple's first ride together preserved for the record.
However, it seems that the experience was a little different than she anticipated. It may be nice to feel the wind in your hair when you're driving but that hair's going to be more windswept and interesting than some people bargained for when the car stops.
Every Day Doesn't Need To Be This High-Risk

From the looks of things, anybody who lives here needs to have about 50 spare keys. After all, there is nobody on this planet who would be able to go without dropping their keys at the door for the entire time they live here.
Sooner or later, they're falling down that grate. Maybe they catch on it one or twice if they're attached to a rabbit's foot or something but that loss is inevitable. The contractor must have been downright misanthropic because this is evil.
This Is The Most 2024 Halloween Decoration Ever

Although the Olympics breakdancing event showed a lot of promise and resulted in some proud gold medals for Canada and Japan, it seems unlikely that the event will return to the Summer Games anytime soon.
While there are various possible reasons for this, the fact that everyone remembers the event best for RayGun's bizarre, scoreless routine probably didn't help matters. Still, there was something iconic about her flailing even though the other B-girls showed off more dazzling skills.
The Judges Rewarded This But Didn't Want To Explain Why

Some folks will look at this diorama and wonder why it placed so high in the Louisville, Kentucky State Fair. After all, it's just a plain office with white walls and a black couch sitting in front of a desk and computer.
However, it's a painstakingly accurate representation of the set for a particularly infamous adult film. Obviously, the judges had lost enough of their innocence to recognize the impressive craftsmanship at work here. At least the maker found their audience.
Shockingly, These Brownies Weren't Cut By A Sober Person

After a fair bit of inebriation, Reddit user limadeltakilo's wife apparently thought it would be a perfect time to cut these brownies out. Fortunately, the knife she used wouldn't be likely to seriously injure herself in that state because it obviously could've gone better.
At least those who only want a little one and reach for it without making additional cuts but there are definitely some odd shapes here. She probably felt she was being really precise at the time, though.
This Wasn't Quite Done Out Of Concern

As Reddit user icecreamdude97 explained, his friends took a wheel off his jeep so he couldn't leave their Halloween party early. One might assume that they were making absolutely sure that he wouldn't attempt to drive under the influence but it seems that wasn't quite the intention behind this.
Apparently, he has a tendency to quietly slip out of parties and his friends were incredibly emphatic about how tired they were of this. So, as he said the next day, "Side note, learning how to put on a tire today."
Making That Face Makes Him The Spitting Image

As Reddit user vanchauvi explained, their father-in-law looks so much like Carl Fredricksen from Up. While showing them side-by-side, that father-in-law accidentally confirmed that he couldn't look more like him if he tried.
After all, not only does he have the same glasses, hairstyle, and a similar head shape but the grumpy expression on his face is the same that Carl wears for about half of the movie. Hopefully, he has the same capacity for adorable friendship.
It May Look A Little Strange But It Sounds Incredible

As Reddit pudjam667 explained, he makes sophisticated headphones that are made to fit the discriminating tastes of audiophiles. Although their sound quality is likely top-of-the-line, there was one criticism that some of his customers and acquaintances tended to have.
They often said that wearing those headphones leaves him unable to hear the bass in his chest, which is likely why he made a subwoofer to be dangled around the neck like Flava Flav's clock medallion.
