Moments Nature Proved You Don’t Have To Go Far To Be Wowed
Sometimes, the most impressive things we can find are the ones that we find close to home. Maybe it's a little shop you never really went into before, or a type of drink you were given by mistake that's actually super good, but maybe the most impressive things of all show up when you take a moment to stop, look around, and see the color of the flowers in the neighborhood.
Sometimes, the things in nature that are right under our noses are the best things.
It Almost Looks Animated
This beautiful tree has some really interesting texture to it! The little swirls almost look like eyes. Am I the only one who kind of sees a bear here, or no?
Look At Those Colors
These mushrooms were arranged to look like this, but the colors are still all Mother Nature's doing, and that's pretty incredible. Isn't it wild that we don't even see all the colors, only a small part of the spectrum?
That Is One Straight Line
What happened here is likely that a small crack had formed and the water from the waves coming onto the shore got in the crack and started trickling down making this beautiful little path.
That Tree Is Not Having It
To avoid being waterlogged, the roots of this tree are growing straight up into the air! I wonder if they will go back down eventually if the water clears up at all.
Is There Such A Thing As Too Much Banana?
Is it weird to feel intimidated by this overly huge banana? If you were looking to make a smoothie or a banana split, this is your guy! Do you think they come with names when they get this big?
Doesn't It Look Like This Tree Is Painted?
This rainbow eucalyptus tree comes by this look naturally, which is quite impressive. They look like they belong in some kind of Dr. Seuss book or some other kind of whimsical storybook land.
OK, That's Terrifying
Imagine you're hiking in the woods and sun the is setting, and you come across this sitting and watching you? It would take a little bit longer than necessary to work out that it's just a fallen tree.
Are Those Tiny Pineapples?
These little guys are actually cactus fruits! Apparently, you can eat them and they taste like really sour lemon candies. I don't know about you, but I would probably give them a try.
They Look Like Glass Beads
Sometimes, it's the smallest things in nature that are the most breathtaking. The way that the water droplets have collected on these leaves looks like something out of a fairy tale.
Nature Always Finds A Way
Would you drink out of a water fountain that had a tiny plant growing out of it? On the one hand, the water is desirable, right? But on the other hand, there is a plant down there.
Think Of How Small Those Babies Will Be
This person walked out of their home and found a tiny hummingbird nest on the plant they keep outside their door! They better be extra careful for the next little while.
In Case You Need More Proof Of How Small They Are
Here is another little hummingbird nest, only in this one, it's one egg on the top of a peach! If that isn't the cutest little thing. Do you think that baby hummingbirds are cute?
It's Like Pet Inception
A little paw on a paw. This puppy has some super clean feet, good for them! I would be overjoyed to find a tiny paw print on my pet's feet.
Are Those Purple Peppers?
For those of you who are wondering, these purple peppers taste just like green peppers, which are the worst overall, but the best on pizza, so it pretty much evens out.
It Kind Of Looks Like Ice On The Potatoes
But, they're actually really cool geometric bubbles! I'm sure that once the bubbles come up to the surface more, they'll change, but it's neat to see them in their process. Could potatoes be any cooler?
Nothing Says "I Love You" Like An Avacado
Imagine the joy you might feel opening up a perfectly ripe avocado to find that the pit is perfectly shaped like a heart? It's like the most perfect snack made even better.
It Should Be Good Luck To See An Albino Deer
It would be a magical experience to be driving home and see this wonderful scene out of the corner of your eye. It's probably a once in a lifetime chance.
Delicious And Beautiful
Just when you thought coffee couldn't get any better, you start seeing that your iced coffee is slowly starting to turn into a beautiful piece of art that is hopefully as satisfying as it looks.
Think Of All The Carrot Sticks You'd Get From This Big Guy
You've got to have some serious green thumbs to make this bad boy a reality. This is the kind of carrot that your parents would tell you about, but you would never know if it was actually real or not.
Wind Is A Crazy Powerful Thing
The way a hurricane twisted this bridge almost looks like an optical illusion playing tricks on the eyes. Let's hope that it isn't too beyond repair and that someday people will be able to hike here again.
Speaking Of The Wind
A storm hit this town, and it was so strong that it picked up a piece of the road and moved it! The road had to have been a bit damaged to begin with, but nevertheless!
It Looks Like Actual Mud
The way these tree roots are growing makes them look like a lot like mud. Even though it looks pretty otherworldly, for this kind of tree, a plane tree, the roots growing this way is pretty common.
What Beautiful Shades Of Pink
This is an example of incomplete dominance, where a specific trait is not expressed over the entire plant. It leaves it with this beautiful look of being half painted and a work of art.
They Look Like Little Mazes
Even though this looks like some cute tiny crop circle, it's actually a virus that sometimes manifests on top of watermelons. It's fittingly called the watermelon ringspot virus. Don't worry, people can't get it.
That Is One Long Lemon
Doesn't that super long lemon look like it should be a cartoon character in some show for children? I wonder if that lemon would taste the same as a normal one.
Is This Apple Having A Baby?
Apples usually grow in groups of two or three, and in the spring, someone comes and picks them all but one, which grows into the apple that is the one we end up seeing in the store. Here, two apples were left behind.
Look At Her Change Over Time
This good girl is 14 years old. As she's aged, the spots on her face have changed and faded away, much like how we get gray hair as we get older.
He Looks Like A Leaf Even Down To The Spots
Nature is well and truly amazing. This bug is basically perfectly camouflaged to live in their natural habitat of trees and bushes. It almost looks like a Pokémon, don't you think?
What A Cute Little Kitty
This cat had a procedure done that required being shaved a little bit. The perfect square of cat fur grew back much darker than the rest of the cat's fur.
Looks Like They're Healing Well
This tomato looks like it had a little surgery and got stitched back up. It's the Frankenstein's monster of veggies...or fruits, depending on who you ask about it, that is.
